How to choose

Pick by what hooked you about The Housemaid: a household where something is wrong. Never Lie is by the same author. The Wife Between Us and The Wife Upstairs bring more tangled marriages and wealthy secrets, and The Wife Upstairs is a Southern twist on Jane Eyre. Behind Closed Doors and Verity are dark and disturbing, The Last Thing He Told Me has plenty of heart, and The Maid is a murder mystery with a quirky narrator. Content runs heavy. Several of these hinge on dark reveals and include abuse and violence, and Verity has explicit sex, so check content notes before you start. To avoid spoilers, stick to the jacket copy.
